  • Why should I take DH courses?
First off, we can only celebrate that there are other programs providing accredited content in this field. There truly is room for us all. If you choose us, though, we're honored (and happy!) because we're proud of the content we create and believe in the importance of well-trained investigators. Additional benefits from taking our courses include: access to unique case studies interesting topics that don't tend to be represented on other training sites and a focus on blending current research with experience to ensure our students are up-to-date Last (but certainly not least), a portion of the proceeds of each course (10%) goes to a cause germane to the topic discussed in the course, so your education helps us help others as well!
  • Are DH courses accredited?
Yes! All courses offered through this site are accredited through the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI).
  • When will I receive my certificate of completion?
Once the student completes all modules within a course and satisfactorily passes the accompanying quizzes, a course completion certificate is emailed to them.
  • Does DH take course topic requests?
Yes! We love creating content that is helpful to our students. If you have a topic you'd be interested in learning more about, but don't see the class available elsewhere, email us at info@dhforensics.com. As a fun fact, our online courses end with a survey listing the course topics we have on the horizon. Student feedback in this section helps us to prioritize the topics and informs us about our students' interests.
  • Does DH offer in-person training?
Yes, we do! Our current in-person training opportunities are limited to investigative agencies and forensic programs at the university level. If your team is looking for training or consultation in the area of medicolegal death investigation, please email us at info@dhforensics.com with your request. Not an investigative agency or university program, but still interested in a talk? Feel free to send us a request at info@dhforensics.com. If we're unable to help you, we'll see if we can refer you to someone who can.
